Banquet Services and Charges:

The Creative Arts and Event Center does not have an exclusive agreement for catering services.  We recommend preferred catering services to our clients, based on previous experience with their ability to deliver a diverse offering of high quality menu choices at competitive prices. We are also normally willing to accept client recommendations for food service providers not on our recommended list, so long as they are established professional vendors, with Board of Health inspected and approved facilities. We provide an on-site catering service kitchen, with warming ovens, and limited refrigeration, cleaning facilities. The kitchen is suitable for final prep, holding, and finishing of food prepared off-site, and for cleaning of guest serving ware, but not set-up for full meal preparation.

Whether working with our preferred list of catering service providers, or from client recommendations, Creative Arts and Event Center services and charges to support banquets are very similar.

Clients select menu from the catering service chosen. The cost of the catering should normally include only food, buffet set-up, and serving from a buffet line. The Creative Arts and Event Center provides all guest table linens, linens for buffet service lines, serving ware and napkins for guests, stations for beverage service (either iced tea or lemonade, plus water and coffee), as well as any services to guest tables, clean-up, and tear-down post event.

Both the standard and China service options assume that food will be served from a buffet. For plated meals served to tables, additional charges apply due to increased number of staff required. please call for pricing and options.

Bar Services and Charges

Alcoholic beverage services are available on-site only through the Creative Arts and Event Center. Under Indiana State law, no alcoholic beverages may be carried on-site. Alcoholic beverages brought onto site for consumption without the consent of the Creative Arts and Event Center will be confiscated. Any person or persons who carry in such beverages will be subject to immediate explusion. Our bartenders will review proper identification as proof of age as required by State Law. Guests who do not have a current drivers license or other proof of age when requested by the bartender will not be served.

We offer a variety of host and cash bar options for our clients, depending on needs, wishes and budget.

 
Bar Service Options:

Cash Bar: Client (host) pays for bar set-up and bartender service, guests pay for individual drinks as ordered. Client may choose to offer a cash bar for beer / wine bar service only, or a full bar with mixed drinks also available. If the client specifies brands of beverages not normally carried by Creative Arts and Event Center, additional charges may apply.

Host Bar: Client (Host) may choose many different options if they wish to provide alcohol beverage service for their  guests .

• Host may provide full bar service for guests
• Host may provide beer / wine only, guests may purchase mixed drinks if they wish
• Host may provide a limited amount of complimentary beer or wine for guests, then convert to cash bar after this amount is exhausted
• Host may provide beverage service to members of the bridal party only, rest of the guests pay cash bar
• Charges for host bar service will be agreed based on whether client wishes to pay standard flat-rate amount per guest, by the drink, or by the bottle / case of wine beer to be provided.
